For the over 18's (or older than 16 years)
Courses for adults are generally open from the age of 16. The choice is up to you for the 16-18 year olds: does the young person still need supervision? Consult other sections.
For the more mature, motivated and responsible young person; you may choose an adult course.
The countries
Anything is available, the more classic and the more unusual. Yes... one can learn English in Malta or in New Zealand, and Spanish in Cuba or Costa Rica.
But travelling to the opposite side of the world is too expensive!
Not necessarily! Certainly the air ticket is more expensive, but exchange rates often mean that an all-inclusive stay of more than 6 weeks, (courses, accommodation, travel, extras) will be cheaper in Sydney than in London, in Buenos Aires or Cuba than in Madrid.
The formulas
These are numerous, corresponding to different expectations and budgets:
- part-time or full-time courses
- courses & activities
- specialisation: business, tourism, banking...
- programmes for parents & children
- jobs
- au pair
- volunteer work
- internship
With scheduled activities?
Generally these are available with individual enrolment and payment for a chosen activity (culture, sport, tourism...).
Accommodation: in a host family, in a hall of residence or hotel?
Each option has its advantages. The choice is yours! For longer stays a group of students can rent a flat and our schools will organise this.
Duration
From one week to one year, in one or more than one country. Your course file will follow you from one school to another!
The journey
You travel independently but we can supply information and recommend a certified travel agency. If desired, you can be met on arrival and delivered to your place of residence.
