Preparing for SELOR's language tests

SELOR works for over 150 different public services and mainly recruits personnel for the federal administration, the Belgian communities and regions. Candidates and civil servants have to take language tests to gain employment.
LSI will prepare you for SELOR's tests, by helping you to :

  • Improve relevant knowledge of French, Dutch and German
  • Practice and perfect your skills in reading comprehension, listening comprehension, speaking and writing.

Preparing for official exams in English

  • Preparatory course for Cambridge exams (FCE, CAE, CPE, PET, BEC)
  • Other exams: IELTS, TOEFL et TOEIC

This preparation is also available through language immersion programmes abroad with language schools in partnership with LSI Brussels.  

Preparing for official exams in French

  • French Study Certificate - Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française (DELF)                  
  • French Evaluation Test - Test d'Evaluation de Français (TEF)

Preparing for official exams in Dutch

  • Certificate in Dutch as a Foreign Language - Het Certificaat Nederlands als Vreemde Taal (CNaVT)
  • First Degree in Dutch as a second language - Staatsexamen Nederlands als Tweede Taal, Examen I et II

Preparing for official exams in Spanish

  • Certificate in Spanish as a Foreign Language- Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE)

Preparing for official exams in German

  • German Certificate - Zertifikat Deutsch (ZD)

Practical information

  • Mininum level : B1
  • One-to-one lessons with your native-speaking teacher ;
  • Tailored-made lessons: you can choose the number of hours you want to have.

Fees

  • Module of 5 to 19 hr training: 57 € /h VAT excl. ; individual or 2 people lessons
  • Module of 20 to 49 hr training: 55 € /h VAT excl. ; individual or 2 people lessons
  • Registration fee: 22.5 €;
  • Study Material: between 20 and 45 € | you will decide whether you need it or not with your teacher;
  • Travelling cost for the teacher to take into account if you wish the lessons to be at your house : 3.40 € per trip plus 0.40 € per km if the distance between your location and LSI is less than 8km ; If the distance is over 8 km: an extra charge of €18,40 will apply per return trip
